Video: Pisco Sour Recipe, Just In Time For Peruvian Independence Day

Monday, July 28, is Peruvian Independence day.

One-hundred eighty-seven years ago, Peru declared itself independent from Spain after 279 years of colonization.

The Peruvian pisco sour wasn't invented until the 1920s; but in 2008, the most classic Peruvian cocktail is the famous pisco sour.

This short video by Kim Haasarud, The Liquid Chef, demonstrates how to make the perfect pisco sour, step-by-step.

Of course, you have to use the finest Peruvian pisco to get the optimal results.
