Peruvian Food Video: Cevicheria "El Limon"

27 seconds: Dad is having a jugoso a lo macho, his "favorite dish", and a causa de langostinos sits at the center of the table, just waiting to be devoured. The little girl tastes it and says, "¡Está rico!" ("It's good!"). Looks like the other diners are polishing off ceviche and washing everything down with Inca Kola.

It sure looks good.

The first in an occasional series of posts with videos of everyday people in Peru filming their Peruvian food.

What does the causa de langostinos consist of? Mmmm.... It looks delicious...

@ y.monzon: it is delicious, I can tell just by the look of it. It's a cold layered potato cake stuffed with seasoned prawns in a creamy, spicy sauce. If you do a search for causa in this blog (at top right of the main page) you'll see other posts about this very Peruvian dish. Thanks for stopping by again!

Jugoso a lo macho, that's a new dish for me, never had one. I think. But the name sounds tempting, it must be rico.
